Some of the major projects we are currently focused on: University Strategic Plan The University Strategic Plan is designed to examine all aspects of Boston College to see both where we have been in the last ten years and where we should be going in the next ten. Furthermore, it assesses the academic and financial resources of the university and identifies our future needs in both those areas. Boston College Campus Master Planning The campus master plan reinforces the priorities of the strategic plan and the mission of Boston College by shaping the physical environment of the campus to create the space and facilities required to implement the strategic initiatives. A new department within the Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment Department of Boston College. Administrative Program Review, currently in development, will coordinate the program review process of administrative departments. Business Continuity Planning is the process of developing a plan of action, and utilizing it to restore an organization's operational capabilities following a disaster or other emergency that curtails that operation. It is an extension of emergency response that begins when the situation is stabilized and continues until the organization is returned to normal operations. University Core Systems Project The University Core Systems Task Force has been charged with developing recommendations for an overall approach and for establishing priorities for replacing BC's student information systems with applications that are state-of-the-art and student centered.
